Dr. Ainsley Bone is a Jacksonville native who brings warmth, experience, and a deep love for animals to every visit.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2011 and holds both an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Florida. She also completed a year-long rotating internship in specialty care in Coral Springs, Florida, gaining valuable experience in advanced medicine before returning home to serve the community she loves.
In the year before joining Animal Care of Ponte Vedra, Dr. Bone refined her expertise in emergency and critical care at First Coast Vet ER & Specialists, building on her strong foundation in internal medicine, nutrition, and behavior. She combines clinical knowledge with compassionate communication to guide families through everything from routine wellness to more complex medical concerns. Known for her calm and caring presence, Dr. Bone is dedicated to making every visit feel safe, supportive, and tailored to the unique needs of each pet and their family.
Dr. Bone currently serves as Secretary of the Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Society, where she helps support and connect veterinary professionals throughout the region. Outside the clinic, she’s passionate about mentoring others in the field, championing well-being in the profession, and building sustainable models of care that prioritize both medical excellence and emotional connection. At home, she enjoys life with her husband, two young children, and their spirited Border Terrier, Butters.
